Precision Fabrication & Welding

Precision fabrication

With decades of precision fabrication experience, Arex can fabricate any component or product. We also adapt or re-engineer designs to suit manufacturing processes, significantly reducing ongoing fabrication and part replacement costs.
We understand that installing a part or component into equipment during the assembly phase can create adverse stresses. Our experience ensures early identification of potential problems that impact specific components, avoiding substandard results due to cracking or wearing that ultimately causes system failure.

Certified welding

Arex welds to any required code, no matter the job, with certifications to weld structural, alloy, stainless and Q&T steels to Australian Standards. If we don’t possess a certification required for a project, we will obtain it. We also perform stress relieving on metal products to minimise residual stresses in the structure, thus reducing the risk of dimensional changes during further manufacturing or when the component is being used.

Non-destructive testing (NDT)

Arex offers a full range of NDT through our network of professionals. This is the only aspect of our operations which is intentionally performed by an external body to provide an independent NDT assessment of our work for our client’s peace of mind.

Painting

Protect your assets. Arex has a fully equipped spray booth and extensive experience in powder coating, epoxies and urethane paints, and wet spray-painting techniques. We understand the importance of corrosion protection, paint compatibility and climate constraints. All paint services are completed to Australian Standards.

Our capacity to provide high quality assembly, painting and workshop services in-house provides multiple benefits for clients by reducing complications, saving time, and reducing risk. Our team will provide expert advice on additional services required for final production of your products and components.
